Merry Christmas you all! I hope you had a wonderful weekend full of family, friends and fun! I am on a plane headed back to CoMo for the week. Here are the highlights from my trip home for Christmas!
- On Wednesday night, I was able to go over to my childhood friend, Chelsie’s house. She and her boyfriend Mike made dinner and we laughed and hung out all night! At the end of the night, Mike showed me her Christmas gift in the garage while we left her at the kitchen table to wonder what it was… I can guarantee she was super happy come Christmas morning!
- On Christmas Eve, my family and I sprung to make a Greek gyro bar. I hand crafted tzatziki sauce, and tomato/cucumber salad. We grilled some garlic cheese pita bread. It was delicious and most likely me just dying to be back in Greece with Jennifer eating all of the pita available. Afterwards, I got out my OLD Christmas piano sheet music from when I was still taking piano lessons and tried to play. I attempted to make everyone sing along… but I am not quite good enough. My sister brought over the BEST card game that she got for her friend Emily as a gift called, Sing It Back… It was LEGIT the most fun part of the night! Also, the game itself was super pretty and would be an awesome gift for anyone!
- On Christmas morning, we woke up and went to church… because Christmas was on a Sunday. Of course, Christmas is all about family and memories… but you cannot help but mention the gifts. This year, I actually squealed when I opened up a Mason Pearson hairbrush from the boo! I immediately ripped that thing out of the box and started using it! I also got a few treats from the Gig Harbor Candy Company. My mom always tries to buy us local snacks for the holiday.
