I am trying to think of everywhere I have been since I last blogged. The answer is simple, everywhere!
- I started in Kentucky at Morehead State! I love the Greek advisor there Erica, and I just adored the women from he community I got to work with. I then traveled to Arizona State for one of my favorite weekends of the year, (more to come below). I then traveled to Waco, Texas to facilitate a conversation workshop for a whole bunch of chapters across the state. I went to Baton Rogue to visit a chapter at LSU. Then I rounded off that trip with a quick stop in Tuscaloosa, Alabama to work with their recruitment VP’s. Wait, I am not done yet. I traveled to Atlanta for a the CCWL conference, flew to Knoxville to work with a chapter at UT. And now I am writing form Iowa… casual!
- OK – ASU is hands down one of my favorite places ever. I was able to get in a little early and celebrate my Aunt’s birthday with her! I did chapter workshops, one on one meetings with each chapter’s leadership, and recruitment counselor retreat. It was a packed but awesome weekend! I climbed Camelback Mountain with some Panhellenic officers and spent as much time outside as possible. I love this campus! It is beautiful and the weather is always perfect. We finished off the weekend with a trip to a spring training game for the Cubs. It was everything I needed in a trip. This is always a huge hit for me each spring. I LOVED the curriculum I taught and fell in love with these humans over and over again.
- Highlight number two – my trip to Waco and T-Town was pretty special! I got to visit the Magnolia Market which is a huge tourist attraction. It was fun walking around the grounds, it is beautiful! I did not stop by the bakery but I wish I had more time, or I would have. I slept in on the day I spoke at Alabama… I cannot tell you the last time I had 8 hours of sleep. It was perfect.
This week I am heading to San Diego… for my FAVORITE conference I get to attend… the song of the moment: California by Hakuna! March was crazy, but spring is here!
